Since 1994, Alexis Edwards Amaden has served as the Innkeeper of The Whitlock Inn. As Innkeeper, Alexis has primary responsibility for all activities at The Whitlock Inn. Alexis has enjoyed the opportunity to help thousands of bridal parties, businesses and individuals host special events at The Whitlock Inn. A long time Marietta resident, Alexis can help overnight guests at the Inn take advantage all the opportunities and attractions that Marietta offers. Alexis received her B.A. in history from Wittenburg University in 1994. She is actively involved in numerous local civic organizations and charities. She is a member of Kiwanis Club of Marietta, the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce and the Cobb County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Alexis has served on the Board of Directors of Walk America for March of Dimes and the Marietta Welcome Center. She founded the annual Thanksgiving Day Gobblejog Fundraiser for MUST Ministries and is currently Co-Chair of Leadership Cobb. Alexis and her husband, Greg, live in Marietta.
