Elegant Space for a Special Event. Are you responsible for organizing a special meeting for your company or a fundraising event for a local organization? The Whitlock Inn makes it easy to host corporate and social events. We will be happy to help you execute your plans on time and on budget.

Flexible Floorplan. Whether you want to host an Event in the afternoon or evening, indoors or outside, we can provide the appropriate setting for your guests. Take a virtual tour of The Whitlock Inn.

Hours of Availability. We offer two hours for corporate and social events. There is some flexibility in the two hours you may choose. Suggested times: 4 – 6 pm, 5 – 7 pm, 6 – 8 pm, 7 – 9 pm. Because we are located in a residential area, corporate and social events at The Whitlock Inn must end by 11:00 pm.

Corporate and Social Event Package. Our Corporate and Social Event Package should meet all of your event planning needs:

  • Use of the main floor and grounds which includes: The Ballroom, Two Dining Rooms, Two Parlors, Front and Rear Porches and The Gardens.
  • Food for your party provided by Carriage House Catering, our exclusive caterer.
  • Linens for food and beverage tables.
  • Set-up and clean-up of all catered items.
  • Uniformed servers.
  • Dishes, silverware, glassware, and serving pieces.
  • Guest tables, chairs and linens.
  • For a large, fresh flower centerpiece for buffets, add $250.
  • Free parking for your guests.
  • An off-duty police officer will be stationed by the Inn to assist your guests with parking.

Alcoholic Beverages. The Whitlock Inn is not licensed to sell alcohol. If you would like to make alcoholic beverages available to your guests, you may provide your own alcohol and our caterers will supply a professional, insured Bartender for alcohol service. You may opt for a limited Wine, Beer and Champagne Service or a Full Bar, Mixed Drinks Service. To help you plan for your event, our caterer has prepared a chart of suggested quantities of alcohol to purchase for events at The Whitlock Inn. For your protection, and ours, we reserve the right to close the bar.

Taxes and Gratuity. Georgia sales tax of 6% will be added to prices. There is no charge for gratuity.

Reservation and Security Deposit. For corporate and social events, a $500 non-refundable reservation deposit is due at contract signing in order to reserve the inn.  The deposit will be applied to the cost of your event.

Payment Schedule
For your convenience, you may charge the second payment (due four months before your event) and the third (final) payment (due two weeks before your event). Your Reservation and Security Deposits must be paid in either cash or by check.

Parking.
Guests coming to the Whitlock Inn may park in the SunTrust Bank lot adjacent to The Whitlock Inn, except Weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm, banking hours. Guests may also park at the Historic Anderson Mansion, next door to the Inn. With permission, your guests may also use the First United Methodist Church lot across Whitlock Avenue from The Whitlock Inn. After 6 pm, there is parking around the Marietta Square. An off-duty police officer will be available an hour before and an hour into each event to assist guests with parking.
