Karen Casey Events of Marietta has been selected to direct wedding ceremonies at The Whitlock Inn.
Karen S. Casey, certified wedding consultant, has been providing service to brides since 1987. She has designed and taught seminars on “How to Plan Your Own Wedding”, “Weddings - Southern Style” and “Advancing Your Consulting Career”. She is an instructor for the national training course sponsored by the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants (ACPWC) on “How to Start and Develop a Wedding Consulting Business”. Karen is a member of the ACPWC, Association for Wedding Professionals International (AFWPI), National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) and International Special Events Society (ISES). She has been a speaker for numerous national organizations. Karen Casey Events provides three services to couples who plan to have their wedding ceremony at The Whitlock Inn. First, she will meet with you a few weeks before your wedding to discuss ceremony location options, to determine placement of the wedding party and to design the flow of your ceremony. Second, a Wedding Director will attend your rehearsal and direct the practice of all the ceremony procedures in order for the Bridal party to be familiar with their positions and duties. Finally, on your Wedding Day, Karen Casey Events will assist the Bride and wedding party one hour before the ceremony with pre-ceremony details, coordinate lighting of candles, seating of family members and guests, training of ushers, music presentation, processional, recessional and all ceremony-related activities. Karen says: "My responsibility as a director is to handle the logistics of the event in order for the Bride and Groom, their families and guests to relax and enjoy the day to the fullest." Ms. Casey may be hired for additional wedding consulting. Karen's hobbies include reading, writing, playing the piano and dabbling in various artistic mediums.
